Peter Saville’s diptych ‘Cock’ and ‘Horn’, 2017, digital inkjet prints, very organic looking but digitally rendered, that explore four letter words in the English language with ambiguous meanings. The images are digitally abstracted pictures of British countryside scenes, illustrating traditional English rural pastimes and idyll’s; the hunter, the farm. Historically the type of image you might see on placemats Saville elevates them to sumptuous colour saturated prints in their own right.
