It was created in 2005 for the cover of LKJ as part of a series, Selected Poems, published by Penguin (Vintage I think).
Commissioned by AD Steve Marking, the series also included work by Michael Rosen, Brian Patten, Sophie Hannah,
Geoffrey Hill, Derek Mahon, Roger Mc Gough, Carol Ann Duffy, James Fenton & Tony Harrison
The commission was one of my first significant illustration commissions.
